Olivier Courrèges

Founder / CEO

Olivier has served as CEO since the inception of Qynapse in 2015. With 15 years in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, he possesses strong entrepreneurship, marketing and management experience – both in the United States and Europe.

Before Qynapse, he served as Director of Strategy and Development for Merck Millipore, a division of Merck KGaA. He joined the Millipore Corp in 2006 to implement pricing practices for a $1 B life science business unit. Earlier on in his career, he co-founded Open Pricer, a company that delivered pricing software to several Fortune 500 companies.

Olivier holds a master’s in business administration from Toulouse Business School and a master’s in technology management from Ecole Centrale Paris.

Clarisse Longo dos Santos, PhD

VP Clinical Operations

Clarisse co-founded Qynapse and serves as VP in charge of Clinical Operations. She brings to Qynapse almost 15 years of clinical studies management, image processing and neuropsychological assessment experience, in Europe, Brazil and Canada. At Qynapse, she leads the team in charge of software validation and collaborations with our clinical and pharmaceutical partners.

Prior to Qynapse, she was a research engineer at CEA where she managed multiple clinical studies for CNS diseases, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. She began her career performing neuropsychological assessment of patients with epilepsy, brain trauma and learning or memory disabilities at the neurology & neurosurgery department of a large hospital in Brazil. She then did her graduate studies in Psychology and Neuroimaging, exploring the functional networks of learning and memory in Montreal, Canada; followed by a post-doctoral fellowship in neuroimaging using advanced methods of diffusion MRI to identify changes in the connectivity in patients with neurodegenerative diseases in Saclay, France.  She holds a PhD in experimental psychology from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada – and a post-doc in Neuroimaging from CEA, France.

Jean-Baptiste Martini

R&D Leader, Imaging

Jean-Baptiste co-founded Qynapse and serves as the imaging R&D Leader. With almost 15 years of experience in medical imaging software, he is responsible for the development, certification and roll-out of Qynapse software for image analysis and processing.

Before this role, he spent five years as a software engineer for the neuroimaging platform CATI overseeing software development for PET and SPECT imaging. Prior to that, he worked at Dosisoft developing software solutions for radiotherapy’s treatment planning system, and nuclear medicine applications for neurological diseases.

Jean-Baptiste holds a master’s in artificial intelligence from Sorbonne University, Paris.

Antoine Movschin

R&D Leader, Data Science

Antoine joined Qynapse in 2018 as Data Science R&D Leader. He heads up the development and certification of machine-learning algorithms for the diagnosis and prediction of the clinical evolution of central nervous system diseases.

Prior to Qynapse, Antoine spent 7 years as R&D Engineer and Technical Leader at Air Liquide Medical Systems. He was in charge of the development and certification of breathing assistance medical devices for patients suffering from a wide range of diseases – from chronic respiratory diseases to acute respiratory insufficiency and critical care. He also led artificial intelligence projects for diagnosis assistance.

Antoine holds an engineering degree in signal processing and artificial intelligence from Telecom ParisTech, Paris.
